Olmsted and natural landscapes

Frederick Law Olmsted is notes as the “Father of Landscape Architecture.” Among many other high profile projects, he designed and oversaw the Central Park, NYC build. In the early 1900’s, he noted a deficiency in public natural spaces (people would spend their Sunday afternoons at local cemeteries) do he developed the Central Park concept to improve working class residents mental and physical health and improve work productivity.

This article shares a few of his natural design techniques that you may use to bring more nature to your outdoor spaces.
