The Joann Street Greenway gathering space was designed for the Osborn neighborhood on Detroit's east side.  Three concepts were created and a flow-through pedestrian space to access the central 36' diameter seating area was selected.  The surrounding landscape serves as an educational laboratory to teach horticulture and landscape practices with free plants for the community to take home.  Monthly movies, education sessions and events are held and advcrtised on Facebook.
